*cough sputter*
Mar. 4th, 2004 10:26 amWarner Bros. Pictures made the following official announcement today, which includes the news that Gary Oldman will play Jim Gordon in Batman Begins. I cannot get over how awesome this movie sounds.
UPN has officially said that they will not take on Angel. There are six more episodes yet to be filmed. It is horrible because this show has been amazing the past three weeks and it seems they're really getting things together. Buffy has said she might be up for something at the finale, depending on time and script ideas.
From the Washington Times - The Walt Disney Co.'s board voted last night to split the roles of chairman and chief executive officer — just hours after shareholders delivered a staggering rebuke by withholding 43 percent of their votes for CEO Michael Eisner's re-election to the board.
Disney directors voted unanimously to make board member George Mitchell the company's new chairman and voiced their approval of Mr. Eisner's management and the company's strategy. He will remain chief executive officer.
According to Variety - Jerry Bruckheimer Films is in talks to acquire the feature film rights to best-selling video game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Spielberg says Indy IV is still happening, even with the script issues.
Sky Catptain looks cooler and cooler. Bai Ling is neat! I'm just a sucker for pulpy noir, though, so...
I might have some more later but for now... this is it.
