lithera | Well.... what a weekend...

Friday - After work Cody and I went to Stella's and were joined by Sean, Kris, Jim and David and had good food. Yum, yum. Food. Then we went to see The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra where we were joined by Kyna, Brian and Ian. Wow. This movie is really, really funny. They set out to make a bad movie and indeed that is exactly what they accomplished. It makes me want to make a movie. I SLEEP NOW! hee hee hee

Saturday - I woke up early and cleaned out Morla's tank and watched some TV. Then Cody and I drove through horrible, horrible traffic to Cap Hill to see The Triplets of Bellville. While I enjoyed the movie, I much prefered getting to see Destino in front of it. I would never have imagined what putting Dali and Disney together would have looked like but it was beautiful. The clarity of expression on the faces of the people was amazing. It was just amazing. It made me sad to see what Walt's legacy has become.

Sunday - I went to the Emerald City Comic Con. It was much cooler than I thought it was going to be. I'm not sure what I was expecting but what was there wasn't it at all. I got to talk with J. G. Jones and Greg Rucka. That was pretty keen. I thanked Greg Rucka for Wonder Woman and he grinned at me and said it was an honor for him to write the character. We chatted for a little bit about things and it was really neat to get to see all of these guys chat with each other. Next year I want to bring a sketch book and see if I can get people to draw things for me. I really love having things drawn for me. I don't know why. It just makes me feel a little giddy.

And yeah for Lord of the Rings! Stupid Titanic. *mutter mutter*
