It's 10 and only now have I had any sort of time on my hands to sit down and make an entry.

Hi, world!

The mountain was beautiful this morning. Crisp and clear morning. It was a weee bit cold.

I was listening to Rhythm Nation this morning and I had a moment where I was tracking all of the different instrument lines and vocal tracks. I don't know why that happens some times and not other times. It is truly bizarre to see scores unfolding in my head.

On the topic of music I picked up a trombone solos book off of the free table. I think I'll pull out my trombone this evening and see if I can still play at all. (Of course I can. Feh. The real question is whether I'm still worth listening to.) I need to by slide oil and a mute but... That will come later, I think. There is some really hard stuff in there but there are also some fairly simple pieces. Ave Maria should be interesting to try.

My stomach seems to have a general disagreement with food again. I hate it when this happens. I have little idea as to what triggers it, either. Bleh.

I have a good voice when I am using it for singing regularly and I have yet to find an instrument that I can't play. (Though I have extreme difficulty with those of the stringed variety.) I just don't have anywhere to play or anything worth playing.
