I'm in an odd mood.

I don't know why but I seem very random today. In a pretty good mood. Need to go to the gym. Need to stop being such a slacker about things.

I hope this mood makes it all the way through work. I really would appreciate that so I come home and my first instinct isn't to curl up and go to sleep or pour myself a rum and coke. Bleh.

New Orleans! So far, I have certainties on me, Cody, Sean and Holly. We're leaving the 11th of April (just after NorWesCon) and coming back the 17th. If we work things correctly, we can get around $400 a person but we need to do this soon. I want to buy tickets around next Friday. (The 13th, of course.) Talk to me people. Let me know what's going on. I'm going to need the vacation. (I'm going to have to work out things here at work, one way or another.)

What else? There was something else. I can't remember right now.

I need liquid. I should go get some.

I can't believe I know people who would travel to NO in April but not the weeks of Jazz Fest. ;)

Because that is the only week Cody has free due to Spring Break. If I could change that, I would but I cannot.

So basically what you're telling me is that you make your vacation plans around the schedules of your friends rather than around the schedules of events that you have no control over. What a weird concept ;)

*snorts* Yeah, I know. While I would love to go to Jazz Fest some day, I will have to suffice with going for the week before it.

Believe it or not, I'm actually kind of fascinated by this concept. I'm just so used to everyone making their plans around tour that I've always been curious how other people schedule their vacations. Maybe one day I'll plan something like that myself.


...as soon as I lose my mega obsessions....


Oh and Jazzfest is as amazing as people say it is. If Vegas doesn't happen, I might just head down there one weekend.

Heh. I typically just plan around days I have off from work or holidays or whatever seems good. In this case, it is around Cody's schedule.

See the one thing that gets me spoiled is that large groups of my friends make the same plans as I do. It's hard to imagine me rallying everyone together for a random plan but if there are shows involved, everyone goes.

Wish I could go, but thats smack dab in the middle of spring quarter for me!!! We're going to vegas a couple weeks earlier during my spring break instead.
