Jan. 14th, 2004 12:41 pmThe Van Helsing trailer will be out on Friday on Apple.com. It will also be in front of Along Came Polly, which seems an odd choice.
John Woo... well... Ummmm. He's got an upcoming musical project he's working on that's something of a mix between The Killer and Cabaret. So... Ummm. Yeah.
Lawrence Fishburn may be up for the small, yet important role of Lucius Fox in the Batman movie.
Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal are in talks to play gay cowboys in the next film from Ang Lee. It's based on a story by E. Annie Proulx, Brokeback Mountain.
Tim Burton is working on a stop motion animation thing, much like Nightmare Before Christmas, based on an Eastern European folk tale about a man who mistakenly weds a dead body. It is called, "The Corpse Bride".
Here is a transcript of some of an interview about the New Dr. Who.
Christopher Reeve is going to be on Smallville again. Yeah!
A decision on whether X-Men: Evolution will return for a fifth season has not been made yet. Sources say it isn't impossible but it would be a surprise. The creators of the show are already making something new for Cartoon Newtork.
Marvel Knights is adding four titles in April. I like this cover. Coming over is the Hulk (with Iron Man, interestingly), Spider-Man and I'm not sure who else. Possibly Thor.
Dabel Brothers Productions has provided Newsarama with a seven page preview of Dargonlance: The Legend of Huma #1, shipping February 4th. The six-issue monthly miniseries is adapted by Brian Augustyn, with art by Mike Miller and Rael. There are splash pages for it a ways down.
In March, Marvel is launching “Marvel Age,” a new imprint aimed at younger readers, starting with Spider-Man. I'll have to see if it really is for younger readers or not.

In other news.. have you seen the latest New X-Men? Looks like Morrison is doing an Age-of-Apocalypse style 'we have to go back in time and fix it' bit. Jesus.
