There is a new Strong Bad e-mail today. (#94) It was excellent.

There is new Red vs. Blue today. Longer than before but some how not so funny. Well, it is the begining of a new season. I'll give them some time.

Here is more news about what is happening over at Disney. Lots and lots of it.

If you didn't see the new episode of Teen Titans... Well, you have no idea what you're missing. Lots of fangirl squeals from me, let me tell you.

BBCi Films reports that Love Actually star Bill Nighy and Martin Freeman (Tim from The Office) are set to topline sci-fi comedy The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. Nighy says he's been cast as alien planet designer Slartibartfast in the long-gestating adaptation of Douglas Adams' novel. Freeman will play Arthur Dent, the everyday Earthling thrust into an interplanetary adventure.

There are a lot of rumors flying around about the Batman movie but I'm going to wait until they settle down a little before I report on them any more. They're somewhat contradictory on the new details.

German director Tom Tykwer (Heaven) will direct the 18th-century thriller Perfume: The Story of a Murderer for Constantin Film. Variety reports that Orlando Bloom is said to be high on the company's wish list to play the role of Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, an odorless Frenchman driven to murder by an olfactory obsession. Orlando is just never going to stop working. He's working on Haven and The Kingdom of Heaven already...

There is a ton of stuff coming out about Catwoman and it sounds much, much like PR in an attempt to spin something positively about the movie.

Tykwer did Run Lola Run, I think. I loved that movie, but not a lot of other people did.

Um... yes, this is me pretending that I can be as cool as Kat and be in the know and uh... whatnot.

I thought Run Lola Run was awesome! Although my favorite review of it was Wil Wheaton's, where he said, "Hey, guys, tell your girlfriend that RLR is just like 'Sliding Doors', and by the time you've rented it it'll be too late for her to do anything about it". :)

I don't know. I know a lot of people who like that movie. I think it was only well received in certain groups of people. Has a strong cult-ish following.

*sigh* I had thought that TT was starting next week, so I went up to Sacramento for game.

Feh. And now it's possible that my tabletop group is going to be switching to Saturdays. Bleah. I want a TiVo. Or a VCR.

I'm sure they'll show it again. All else fails, in a few months, they will be showing it on the WB, since Cartoon Network and WB have a cartoon exchange program going.

CN gives WB TT and in exchange WB will let CN show their new Batman show once the finish it for the Fall.

I was gonna say, I TiVo'd it and I could (if I could figure out how) send you a VHS. Only if you don't have a VCR...

Yeah. We have it too....

Maybe Marci can find a VCR to borrow?

Right before it does the crash and burn and takes Halle’s short-lived career with it.

I must be pissy today.
