It looked horrible out there this morning. So, I just didn't go to work today. I probably should have but I refuse to feel bad about it. I woke up to a cold house and no power far before I should have. We, obviously, have power now and the house is warm. Still, it was fun while it lasted.

I spend five and a half hours commuting yesterday. I didn't want to give Metro any more of my time today. And, of course, I think I'm coming down with a cold. I'm pretty miserable feeling, all around, but I'm doing my best not to let it get to me at all.

It has been a pretty good day, all in all. I just wish I felt better.

Yeah. I didn't go in until like, 2:45.

It was very slushy though most roads were pretty clear.

The short hills up to our apartment had about 6 cars abandoned at the bottom from the morning.
