... but Metro is telling a large portion of its drivers to just go home. Downtown is a big mess with road closures everywhere. Aurora was fine while I was on it, getting enough drivers to keep it pretty clear and there were snow plows everywhere.

I like being a semi-manager. I'm pushing for everyone going home. Because it is only going to get worse.

And you know what? It makes me giddy. I love it.

I'm voting for going home early and a department snowball fight.

The snow here won't make snowballs - hopefully for the sake of the department - your's works better.

I'm still technically supposed to go in - no sign of them closing down or going home early. Kind of sucks though.

Well, I'm here. I came in. I just don't think I'm staying. Just sitting here watching the snow is getting much worse.

When I swept the snow off the car this morning I thought it was fake - it wasn't cold to the touch, it had no weight and it wasn't sticky. Saturday's snow however - awesome snowball material. Just wish I had someone to throw them at.

Huh. No, it was very powerdy and crunchy, yet sticky. The sort of snowballs that hit hard but then disintegrate.

It's too cold for decent snowballs around here. Small, non-sticky flakes = lousy packing snow.
