I cannot agree...
Dec. 22nd, 2003 12:16 pmSo, I've been hearing a lot of rumbling that now that Return of the King has come, there is nothing else to look forward to for movies. While I admit that there is nothing on the horizon that will have the impact RotK did, I cannot agree that there is nothing to look forward to.
Spider-Man 2. C'mon. Doc Ock. This is going to be awesome.
Then we get the third Harry Potter movie which is looking to have a much darker and older feel than the pervious two. Sometimes a change in director is a good thing.
And Of course there is Troy and The Incredibles.
On the not so obvious side we have a few good entries as well.
The first is Van Helsing. It is hard to tell how this will turn out as of yet but everything so far looks really cool.
Then there is Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. No. Seriously. This looks like it will be tons of fun. Noir pulp novel action.
The Butterfly Effect looks really good and might actually prove that (gasp) Ashton Kutcher can act.
Not to mention Kill Bill 2, Hidalgo, The Ladykillers, Hellboy
A little lower on my list of must see action is Man on Fire, Girl with a Pearl Earing, The Passion of Christ and the Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.
Let us not forget that Hero comes out here in the US in April.
Also, on the next tier or movies is The Punisher, The Whole Ten Yards, Shrek 2, Dodegball: The Movie, The Chronicles of Riddick, King Arthur, The Bourne Supremacy, and Constantine.
Don't forget that Big Fish comes out to all theaters on the 9th of January and that movie will own you - if you can just let the hard edges of your reality bleed a little.
And I didn't even put everything on here due to time constraints.
