Yes. I'm here. Been here for awhile now. Got up at 6.

Anyway... I should have taken today off but I don't mind. It was totally worth it.

There was a woman behind us who didn't come for all three movies and then started snarking at people who were cheering. I understand being upset at the noise when it gets in the way of hearing lines. There were somethings in there, however, that I don't think I could have restrained myself from cheering. In fact, I think I would have hurt something had I tried.

There is a reason I go to the Cinerama on opening night for movies like this and that is a lot of it.

I hate the people who got marathon tickets and then didn't come for the whole thing. Yeah, okay, you may have personal circumstances, whatever. But there were only 800 tickets, and those should have all been given to people who wanted to do the all-day thing. These tickets were a truly scarce resource. I could have sold eight more at least to people who would have done all three.

I really respect and admire the people who were lined up around the block for the 2:30 a.m. show, and the people who watched the DVDs of the first two in the parking lot. That shows commitment. Those people deserved to be in there more than anybody who showed up at 9:30 p.m.

I know. There are things I can understand being more important and I can sort of understand missing Fellowship.... but... I mean.. I would have rather people showed up for the whole thing. They completely missed the point if they only showed up for one.

I know so many people who would have loved to have been there and to have people be totally punkass about it makes me a little mad.
