I remember that. I even remember what had happened generally, though the specifics were never all that clear to me, even then.

Yeah, I remember all of it. I just didn't want to rehash it.

You've been good to me, Kat. That's why I've tried to be a good friend to you, in my own way. I just wasn't capable of being soft and kind before so instead I tried to give you the benefit of my occasional flashes of insight. I had too many monsters in the closet to be any other way. Although, things are changing now. Rapidly.

I know we've both tried to be good friends to each other, it just isn't always easy since there are times we just don't seem to really understand what the other is trying to communicate.
