This cold just will not leave. It's just lingering and lingering. It isn't making my life hell or anything, it's just making things annoying.

If the gym doesn't call me today to set up my first session with the personal trainer, I'll go in after work and see what I can hook up. I'm trying to decide what days work for me and pretty much any day works for me. Even on days I have things in the evening they don't start until seven or eight and I can go to the gym for an hour or more between work and whatever it is I have in the evening.

On the bright side of things, my manager comes back tomorrow. Things will start to even out again with that, I think. Or so I hope. I have lots of things I need to do but havne't had the time to do them, scrambling with the holiday stuff as I am.

It's lovely to be busy on a certain level.

Does anyone else like that slightly sore stiffness that comes from after a workout? The slight pain from muscles that haven't been used being pushed? I guess other people must, that's possibly what is a little addicting about excercise, hey?

Two weeks. Eeee!

Post-workout soreness is kinda like post-sex soreness, I think. I like them both, but it's because they remind me of how good the physical activity was, not anything inherent in the twinging.

Yeah. I had made that comparisson as well. The trick with exercise is that I can much more easily go too far and do something that will prevent me from exercising again soon.

While I've had sex that left me sore and even in pain from time to time, I've never pushed myself so far that I couldn't do it again the next day.

I *heart* that feeling. I miss it even.

I love that feeling. I just hate the feeling of pushing too far. I think that's where the fear lives.

Ahhh see that's why you push it a little at a time. Your body knows what it can do, if you listen to it.

I'm not very good at that, I don't think. I need some more practice at it. There are some times I can push further than others. I'll figure it out, I guess.

Practice makes perfect.. and remember unless you are monumentally stupid (which you are not) your body does heal. Take it slowish and it's all good.

I enjoy that sensation quite a bit, both for itself and for the reminder of an enjoyed activity.

Yay!

Hey! Are you *re* joining, or have you been going all along?

Some tips: when you have a workout that you think will really strain your muscles, take CLA (Cojugated Linoleic Acid) (http://www.health-marketplace.com/CLA-1000mg.htm) followed by an Odwalla Superfood. Take 3000mg throughout the day.

It'll totally help with the soreness.

I'm joining somewhere else. I've moved a few times since then.
