Some book things...

Legends II: New Short Novels by the Masters of Modern Fantasy come out in the end of December. There are stories from Robin Hobb, George R.R. Martin, Orson Scott Card, Diane Gabaldon, Robert Silverberg, Tad Williams, Anne McCaffery, Raymond E. Feist, Elizabeth Haydon, Neil Gaiman and Terry Brooks. There is, now, only on author on that list who I haven't read.

I must fix that.

Oh. An those who hate Robert Jordan will have more fuel for the fire. His newest release is going to be a prequel - finishing the story from the first Legends collection about how Lan and Moiraine got together. I will read it. Addictions are addictions.

I need to get Exile's Valor.

I've given up on Robert Jordan until he sits down and just FINISHES THE DAMN THING!!! I was with him for years, but after the second 800-page book in a row in which nothing happened (which was two books ago, I think), I decided I'd just wait until he put out the last book, and then read it all straight through. Until then, I'm all about the George R R Martin instead.

RJ's the devil! what a puff piece pay me by the frigging word kind of writer... when is his next book coming out? I can't wait for George RR Martin to release a Feast for Crows sometime this decade...
