Anyway. Here is the trailer for The Punisher. I'm not sure how I feel about it. There is more potential there than I thought there would be but I'm not sure how much that is saying. Florida looks all wrong for this.
If you didn't see it yesterday I found that there is another episode of Teen Titans in November and the second season is being produced right now.
Marvel had its conference call and there was a lot of movie talk -
- Iron Man is targeted to be a PG-13 release and on target for a ’05 release.
- Elektra, which is in current development, will be the “sequel” to Daredevil, with the character first appearing there, and then be reunited with Daredevil in Daredevil 2.
- Marvel is “feverishly” working on Fantastic Four with Fox, and that the studio has it on it's schedule for December 2004.
- Namor is in active development.
- X-Men 3 is in development, but neither Marvel or Fox is willing to tentetively put it on the schedule yet, for either 05 or 06 release.
- Captain America is in discussion with top writers and directors, now that litigation surrounding the character has been resolved
Joel Silver is talking about Wonder Woman all over the place in press junkets for the Matrix. He says he's up for doing it more serial style and doing more than one at a time.
Shrek 2 and Troy's trailers are debuting tonight on Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight respectively. Keep an eye out for them.
There are tons of crazy, crazy rumors out there right now. One that has no basis to it at the moment is the Hugh Jackman as Bond role. He hasn't heard anything about it as of yet, so... I'm not sure why everyone is in such a hurry to replace Brosnan.
Tomorrow is the Matrix Revolutions. I'm going in with low expectations. I'm hoping to be impressed.
