Tonight it will be announced that I am part of the Most Improbable Concert Ever. This of course, is relating purely to MUSHing and that our staffer characters have band names and I will be co-Head Wiz. I'm probably crazy for taking this on but you know what? I wanted this game to live and I meant it. So.... Yeah. Wheee.
(Yes, you can try to guess what band I am. No points for those of you who already know. The other band invovled is Wham. Seriously the Most Improbable Concert Ever.)

It's Friday. Thank You.

I get to go get my comics, too! Wheee! The newest issue of Batgirl rules. I was starting to feel a lack of faith in the direction of the comic but I think this issue brought me back into the fold comfortably. It was awesome. I also noticed that she was voted Best Heroine by Wizard. Sweet.

I'll see how my X-men comics are this week but I'm thinking I'm giving them the boot, as much as that makes me sad.

I crave DDR.

I got my Alex Ross book yesterday. All I can say is, "Wow." I have a new favorite Joker picture. And I like his pencil sketches about seventy times more than I like his paintings. His paintings are great. I grant that. But there is a serenity, a calm to his pencil drawings of Wonder Woman that is just missing in the paintings. In his paintings she always looks upset, or angry or like she's having a bad day.

I have no idea where I want him to sign it when I go and see him in November. I should see if Holly wants to go to that. I'll bring my book to game this weekend for her to look at.

It's been a long time since I've played DDR.

Ah, well...

Hmm, drawing on my keen lack of any knowledge about you other than your livejournal, I'm going to say, Oingo Boingo?

Good choice, but wrong.

You should tell them the other band/staff name involved, so they know just exactly how improbable the pairing would be. ;)

You are correct. I will go edit that in.

It's before Thanksgiving. Like the 8th or the 18th. Not sure which.

Sorry, dearest.

Are you still free monday? Can you give me a ring? I lost my phone book (I think Hermes stole it) so I can't call you like I've been meaning too. Gracias.

I'm still free Monday. Nothing planned at all for me. I'll give you a call. Or will I see you at Jen Wolf's thing tomorrow?

The other band is Wham. Yes. Seriously the Most Improbable Concert Ever.

Who, Wham and Yes? I could see it.

No, no. The other band isn't Yes. That's just me typing like I speak again.

We also would have accepted "No, just Wham and Yes, The Who isn't involved."

From: [identity profile] lithera.livejournal.com
Neither Yes nor The Who nor The Band nor The The are involved.

Course, we do have an interesting list there. Devo. Bananarama (me), Toto, etc...

It really would make an amazingly strange concert if you think about it. I'm tempted to make a playlist and see if I can listen to it without wanting to run screaming from the DJ trainwreck.

Hmmmm. Tempting.

I shoudl ask everyone to give me a song from their band so I can try it.

For Bananarama, Venus or Cruel Summer. Either one.
