litheraI spent money last night. I feel a little guilty about it but I think I can live with the guilt because I got some super sweet things.
The Indiana Jones DVD set for $45. Started watching Raiders of the Lost Ark before tired kicked my ass last night. (More on that later.) The picture quality is amazing and the sound is well done too. I really enjoyed the parts that I saw and I had forgotten how much I loved that movie.
I got Batman: The Rise of Sin Tzu. This game is awesome amounts of fun. Do you remember those games like X-men or Ninja Turtles where all you did was go around and beat people up? Yeah, this is a lot like that except you can play Batman, Nightwing, Robin or Batgirl. Everyone gets cool special moves, too. I played Nightwing and he was such a blabbermouth. He had a freaking comment for everything. I really appreciated that they used the voice actors from the cartoon. Extra special. I got the first one out of the box. In fact, I made them go open the box just for me.
I also got Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman. After I crashed out at like 9 I woke back up at like... 10:30 ... 11. So, I popped this into my DVD player and gave it a watch. I loved it. I was a little disappointed that I figured out who Batwoman was but that's okay. There was some lovely stuff where they show the beginings of things that will lead to a Batman Beyond universe and that made me smile. Babs and Bruce? The relationship is awkward but still cute and full of potential. Definately awkward, though. Of course, I have always had my feelings about who should end up with who in BatLand.
I should have an Indy day and watch all three of the movies. Maybe I'll do that after the Halloween party. Depends on how I'm feeling and who all crashes over.
