Geek.

Of course, I followed their conversation pretty well, so I guess this is one of those pot & kettle moments, huh?

I just thought it was hilarious.

Yeah, if you can follow that you have some comic book knowledge.

The scary thing is that as far as I know, Black Mage is right...

He is. Unless Batman has prior knowledge of Doom.

Now, can you name Doom's country without cheating?

*cheers* You are the winner.

I think I've corrupted you enough.

That would have been more impressive if it wasn't printed in the comic above.

I asked him not to cheat. I trust him.

And that trust means a lot to me.

It really is a win-win situation for Kat.

Option 1) I get it right, without cheating. This proves she has infected me with Comic Knowledge.

Option 2) I can't get it right, but I care enough to cheat. Even demonstrating that I CARE about showing comic-fu is a win for Kat.

Option 3) I guess wrong, and say something like "Genosha" or "Kenvia", in which case I bring a smirk to her face. Not a complete victory, but it might make her laugh.

Doom from Genosha. That would be pretty funny.

Themyscria would be funnier, though.

The fact that I am not the only person who reads 8-Bit is what amuses me about /this/ conversation. =D

That is HILARIOUS! I've never seen this comic before, but I've added it to my favorites. However, the point not taken into consideration is that Doom, as villain, must always fail in the world of comics.

And Batman, even if forced into confrontation by Doom, is always prepared to confront any enemy -- or any ally -- at a second's notice. Look how R'as Al Ghul recently defeated the entire JLA by using a contingency plan compiled by Batman. You telling me Batman has a plan for taking out Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Plastic Man, Flash, and the Martian Manhunter all at once, but he couldn't figure out how to best Doom, who has been defeated by everyone from the FF to the Hulk to Spider-Man to, I don't know, probably even Howard the Duck?

I REALLY enjoyed this comic.

See, I agree with you. I think that Doom would appear to win but he wouldn't really, only finding out about it much, much later.
