The two Extended Editions will play in a marathon on Tuesday December 16th - leading up to the midnight premiere of the Return of the King.

The list of theaters showing these is fairly slim , and I bet you that most of these screenings will sell out toot sweet when tickets go on sale on October 9.

Thank you, darling. Given the closeness to Thanksgiving, I don't think I'll be going, but I'll likely go there to watch it, after I go to San Jose to see it with lady_equine's friends.

Oh, yeah, you can be the first to know; my supervisor approved my leave for Wednesday and Friday of Thanksgiving weekend. I'm planning on doing friend-time on Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

We'll see what we can do. I'm pretty certain there will be a limit on number of tickets that can be bought. And I'm not sure if they will be sold all as one event or not. Or how much they will be. There are a lot of details still missing from the picture.

I am going to have to wait until my birthday in Middle Janurary to see this. And it will be in stunning DOLBY STEREO.

But I will be able to see it all three days that it is going to be in the theater.

However I really wish that I could be with you guys and I would even stand in line to get tickets. Hell, knowing me I woould probably end up underwritting a few tickets.
