Weekend... Weeeeeeekend

litheraOnce Upon a Time in Mexico was good fun. Johnny Depp walked all over that movie and just owned it. It was more over the top than Desperado and if you don't like that, you'll hate this movie. The action was filmed in that quick cut fashion that seems so popular these days and I really dislike it. I enjoyed it, even through my tooth pain.
Yes. I got a root canal. Later when I have time, I will write the experience out and post it up on here. I will lj-cut it for those who are squeamish. It involved fire, though.
Saturday was David's birthday party. He's turned five and that worked out well. He's a great kid and I wish I could see him more often. Water balloons are fun and so are supersoakers.
Sunday's game was excellent. I enjoy playing Alanna alot. It was pretty funny though, for a moment I was having breakfast with myself. At some point I might have to have that converation between the two of them in my head. It would have been hard to have it there at that point though. We're stuck in Hell. Well, probably the Abyss, actually. It's pretty lame and my character is really not happy about it. We keep on trying to get out and we just end up getting more lost. It's not good.
So, today is Monday and that means Gatekeepers. I think I'm going to need that thought to hold me through work today. I am seriously going to have to call up some people and smack them around this morning. So not thrilled with people who promise me things Friday and I don't have them Monday morning.
