Things I need... or need to do..
Sep. 5th, 2003 09:38 am- More bookshelves (One for my room and some for downstairs for my comics)
- A white board. (Handy for bills and things that need to be done.)
- Watering the lawn. (I come home every night planning to do it and I just never do.)
- Clean my room and unpack.
- Figure out why some people keep triggering my 'something is wrong' sense.
- Kick people around tomorrow (including myself) and do a good cleaning and tidying up of the house in general.
- Continue going through caffine withdrawl headaches.
- Read some more Rhapsody. This book is great.
- Actually get some work done at work today.
- Sleep more.

Date: 2003-09-05 10:44 am (UTC)Midol will help with the caffiene withdrawls because it has a low dose of caffiene in it. Drink a lot of water. Atleast 2 liters, that will help hydrate you and get rid of the nasty headaches. If you are into natural remedies, peppermint and eucalptys oil helps to get rid of headaches. Peppermint is very soothing and eucalptys opens up sinuses.
I'm adding you as a friend.

Date: 2003-09-06 02:09 am (UTC)The thing that that helped me is that I took two weeks of use or lose leave. The first two days were spent primarly twitching in bed. After that the Age of Wonders computer game helped, Tylonal helped, sleep helped, and lots of water and I dare say a little alchole helped.
Personally I don't think that quiting both caffine and sugar at the same time is the way to go. I would quite one and then the other. Unless of course there is an imparitive medical reason involved.
But the driving idea behind breaking an addiction is that you can do what you want. Once you get off the stuff your always addicted. You might get better control over your craveings but if you ever want to go back to your junky ways your body will go with you.
Lots of people say that I am a lot more fun to be around when I am caffinated. I might actually go back to my feindish ways once I get out of the Air Force. We will have to see
Good luck. Hang in there. Do what you can. Remember Murphey's Second Law of Combat: "If it is stupid and it works then it is not stupid."
"I love the man that holds his own will above him as if it were law" Thus Prake Zarthustra by Friedrich Nietzsche
