The morning of the animals...

So, I walked out of the house unsurprised to see a crow sitting in the driveway. It looked at me and flew away. I kept walking only to encounter a crow sitting on a wired and a squirrel sitting on the fence in what seemed to be a conversation. They stopped and looked at me and I excused myself and walked on through. I was amused at this point, thinking that this was a morning animal. I looked to my right and there was a big black cat. Her head came up to my knee and she had deep topaz eyes. She said hello to me and I said good morning back. I crested the hill and started down towards Linden and was unsurprised to see a Golden Retreiver following the trail of something. He looked at me for a brief moment but I wasn't what he was following, so he went back to snuffling at the ground and following what he was following.

Then I spent the bus ride reading about the Uncertainty Principle and Planck's constant. It seemed a fitting juxtaposition to me. It surprises me how much of the book I understand without needing the explainations. I have always loved science, really. I just hated doing science. I would much rather read about someone's theory and how they came to it and what it means than ever find a new one myself.

Today is an interesting day at work already. That says something.

'lo dear, since I have been one of the undead this week, one of my co-workers drove in as to cover my til six shift if I didn't make it too work today. She does not care that I am here today she is sending me home at 5, so I will be home a little after 5 for bed pick up, or if you still want to get it after 6 that's fine too.

My truck is functional again (got it back from the shop late last night). I can volunteer its usage tomorrow if that works for anyone.

I e-mailed you back. I'm going tonight with Gavin and if that doesn't work for whatever reason, I'm grabbing some rope and Sean's car. If /that/ falls through for some reason, I will give you a call and we will go early tomorrow so Jenga doesn't go crazy.
