I need a hobby.

I know I've said this before. I'm saying it again, though.

It can have a cost, but that cost can't be too high. I'm willing to put money out for it, whatever it is.

I want to be creative with it. I liked painting ceramics. That was great. I like painting but the set up costs kind of scare me away there. (That and I'm terrified of standing in front of an empty canvas with all of these paints and brushes and things that I just bought and not being able to come up with something.)

I would love to throw pots but studio time in the palces I can get to is really, really expensive.

Knitting doesn't take up enough of my brain power. I get bored with it and put it down and enver want to come back, really.

Any suggestions? I want to work the creative side of my brain.

I'd recommend miniatures painting, which ties in with role-playing, only a) it's of limited creative potential and b) the industry has kind of gotten away from the idea of RPG-friendly miniatures.

AH, but I've personally found Michaels to be easier to find what you're looking for, and better organized overall.
