Ah, gotcha. I remembered because I had a conversation about it with some guy when I worked at Best Buy. Then I saw the movie and loved it so, of course, I remembered him.

There's an online petition against this movie, because apparently its offensive to Jews. Apparently it follows a storyline that the Catholics dropped after Vatican II.

I've seen several articles about that. Apparently it's a big debate, because what various groups were commenting on was a draft of the script, so they're not even sure what the final cut looks like. On the other hand, Gibson is part of a breakaway Catholic sect that doesn't recognize Vatican II and his father is a holocaust denier.
