I don't think it is a coincidence that Canada Day is also the first day of free agency for the NHL. The Red Wings picked up Hasek's option. The Ducks didn't sign Adam Oates or Paul Kariya.

My lead sent me the cutest pictures of a kitten and a puppy sleeping. (Two different pictures.)

I need to write some people e-mail. I've also noticed the sensativity in emotions coming out in new ways. There have been a few times in the past few days where I've almost had to leave a room because of certain factors. I have to continue re-adjusting to everything.

Thinking about that, that might be the answer to something I've been wondering about recently. Definately need to write some e-mail. Because I'm a moron.

Have I told you that I LOVE Canada? I want to live there. Everyone is super nice, and no one cares that you're from the US. They treat you nice anyways. The 7-11 clerk was obviously really stoned and I thought that was funny. They have cool food. Like for example: Ketchup flavored chips, Lime soda, Salt and Vinegar microwave popcorn(!!) and coke with real sugar. AND I like that they drive fast.

Not so sure about the bicycles on the hiway tho. That seems kind of dangerous.

They don't really drive that fast... but I'll agree with the rest of that.

I really do love Canada?
I can't wait to go back.

One of my fondest memories of Western is driving 75 - 80 in a Geo Metro on I-5 heading North back to Bellingham late at night and being passed by British Columbia license plates travelling at warp 9.8. ZOOM! ZOOM!

In Canada like most areas of the "civilized" world seeing a doctor is a fundamental Human right. People are nice. It is a very Izzardian place (relaxed and groovy).

The world owes Canada a huge debt. If it wasn't for Canada there would be no UN peacekeeping. Canadians have been at the forefront of every major UN peacekeeping operation. Canada is also the driving force behind hockey. And I do not want to live in a world with out hockey! I am a firm believer in a "No winter, no hockey." policy meaning if your city does not get a recognizable winter then you do not get a pro NHL hockey team. Canada is also home to Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, and Vancouver, some of the most beautiful cities in North America.

I have a Canadian flag in my room right next to my American and Republic of Korea flag. I think I will always have a Candain flag in my home.

Besides there a couple of Canadians that I am rather found of.

I like the No Winter, No Hockey rule myself, but I have slowly gotten used to the idea of hockey in the desert. I mean, those poor people need something to remind them of winter and if that is hockey, all the better.
