So, of course I read Tina's post and go look at my favorite motorcyle website.

"All new Ducati's now come with Free Scheduled maintenance for 12 months or 6,000 miles whichever comes first. Add up all the Ducati advantages like 2 year warranty, 2 year roadside assistance and free enrollment in the Desmo Owners Group and you'll see why it's called the "Ducati Advantage.""

Ducati Seattle is pleased to announce you can now apply for financing online.

Trinity was on a 996, which is an older bike. They're currently on 999s. Though aesthetically I like the look of the 900 Sport more.

*wistful sigh*

It's Tina's fault....

I like the Ducati monster line (it seems to fit my mood right now), but I ESPECIALLY love the MH900e model bike.
It looks *SO* pimp!
Disadvantage - it's a single rider bike - no passenger.

But it's so cool!

ACK!

And when I have $7000+ just lying around, I'll get me a ducati.

Yeah...

No passenger?

Suck!

How else am I going to scam rides from people if they don't have passenger seats on their bikes?

Well, then, I'd just have to get one of the supersports.

Are you implying that my riding a supersport would be sexy?

Dude. The bike is sexy all by itself. You and Tina on it would be lots and lots of legs.

Cause... you know... its a long way and all.

Yaknow, it's not a bad bike, but I don't like the look of the front.

It's kinda . . . bleh.

*shrugs* These things apparently bother you a lot more than they bother me.

The ??? was from my thinking you were going to send my post to the grammar people. That was a disconcerting thought.

That why I'm on grammarpolice and you're not.

There's actually an ongoing debate about whether people's posts are fodder for mockery. I'm firmly on the side of a single typo, misspelled word or superfluous apostrophe not being worthy of mockery. When it's published, the standard is much higher, so while you making the mistake would not be worthy (I mean, come on, as Rob Corddry would say), Ducati's mistake is almost as good as the sign on Riverside Drive that says "Currently excepting applications."

I can see where it might be entertaining to use them as fodder but there should be a level of wretchedness before it qualifies.

Or so I would hope.

You need to share those drugs you're hoarding over there. I think the front looks just fine.

I don't like the front either. I have to side with him on this one.

Typos are too common to be entertaining. Most of the LJ fodder is 16-year-olds who use numbers for letters and say "tehehehehe" between sentences.

Well, don't worry so much about the front.

You'll only get the view from behind, anyway.
