I'm not even sure if what I read was the death you're talking about. In the x-men extreme graphic novel she died, and it was barely two panels. The other characters grieved, but only barely. If it's had an impact on the universe since then, I wouldn't know, cause I don't keep up with the x titles other than the occasional graphic novel.

Is that even the death you're talking about?

Yes. That's the death I'm talking about. It had effects later on in the universe. Fairly large ones, all in all.
