litheraI need to go over and check out tickets for SIFF (Seattle International Film Festival) This year. They're showing Bubba Ho-Tep and the Animatrix. I might be interested in Tears of the Dragon too. So much good kung-fu action as well.. Hmmmmm.
Another review of The Matrix that isn't so glowing. There are little spoilers in there if you want to read it too.
The trailer for Freddy vs Jason will be around in time to be infront of The Matrix, but it isn't attached, so you may or may not get it.
The reviews coming in for Bad Boys 2 seem pretty satisfied. And I quote from a review: "BAD BOYS II is the ultimate achievement in empty spectacle; an unabashedly brainless thrill ride that cleverly announces its intentions with an opening credit montage of Ecstasy tablets rolling off an assembly line." -- You really need to read the review. It's pretty awesome.
Oh the horror - According to a source for Superhero Hype!, Thunderbirds director and Star Trek vet Jonathan Frakes may be on top of Warner Bros.' list to helm their new Superman movie.
There is a teaser for the Last Samurai, but the quality sucks and the picture is really small. I must see this movie.
Hollywood Reporter says Angel is coming back next year. We'll see next week.
