Yesterday...

Well, yesterday was a day of training. The guy I was traning picked it up amazingly fast. He was just all over it. At the end of the day I was like, "Well, that's it. Everything else you'll learn from doing..." It's day two of three. Yeah.

Then I skittered on home to vaguely grab some food and then go to karate. I like sais. I have no idea what the hell I'm doing, but its cool and that makes it much more fun. The sais I have are too heavy for me and too short, so they're ordering a pair better suited for me. It's pretty sweet, all in all.

I went down to Derby and Panda's place to show off my sais. I played some Phase 10 (oooh. That's a surprise.) I actually won. We watched Dark City. Wheeeee. The rest of the band came over and they talked. I listened. It was pretty cool to sit there and be a part of something like that.

I am glad that you had fun at your class,
still wished that we had been able to go out, but....
I didn't mean to exclude you from the lunch date, i just assumed that you were already in the international district. (silly jen)

Oh, it's okay. I didn't feel excluded at all. I was supposed to be in the International District by now. (In fact we're moving this weekend.) If you let me know I can manage enough time to meet you somewhere after I move. It's just a short hop away, especially with the bus tunnel.

I liked Dark City, but it never grabbed me. I was always waiting for something more from it.
