Well, then. I got home after game last night and went to go watch the Tivo'ed hockey game.

I... Nnnnnggh. The Tivo recorded the what the length of the program was supposed to be. How was I to know that the game would be as astoundingly great as it was? I never would have expected it to go into triple overtime.

Let me just note at this point that watching a hockey game with the ability to fast forward through all of the parts that aren't actual playing is an experience. I almost gave myself a heart attack from the excitement.

The game was great, what of it I saw. Congrats to Giguere for making made 63 saves, an NHL best for a first postseason game. I don't think that record will be broken anytime soon.

I only wish we'd won. Of course, if all the games in this series are this good, I'll be okay with it. ... I just... Wow.

And the Canucks lost. Badly. Damn it.

Well. At least the Avs lost.

I cannot wait for the game on Saturday. Anyone want to come over at noon and watch it with me?
