It would be a fan's dream come true, but also something that would make sense. TheOneRing.net has recieved word that the first The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King trailer may be attached to The Matrix Reloaded when it hits theaters everywhere on May 15. *shiver* So... much... goodness.

TheForce.net reports that Industrial Light and Magic are indeed working on bringing the "Indiana Jones" trilogy to DVD... Apparently ILM is having to conduct a major restoration of the original print. There's quite a bit of digital film cleanup they're conducting as well. No, there's no new scenes added (and the guy with the sword doesn't shoot first, thank goodness), but they are removing certain errors and weak elements from the picture. Expect wiring, equipment and reflections to be removed digitally - anything that distracted or looked weak in the final release may be evaluated again. Basically they've come up with a list of what gets fixed.

The fourth Harry Potter book may be made into two films, its producer revealed at the launch of the latest Potter DVD on Tuesday. David Heyman said pre-production on The Goblet Of Fire was proving so lengthy it might be too much for a single movie. He said: "We started work on the script last Monday. We're going to shoot it as one and see how it ends up. If it's too long then we'll make it into two."

According to Variety, Daredevil helmer Mark Steven Johnson will direct Ghost Rider for Columbia Pictures with Nicolas Cage set to star. Johnson will rewrite the script by Shane Salerno. The film has been greenlit for a start in late 2003 or early 2004.

Poster for the Sinbad animated feature. Lots of high profile stars doing voice acting for this one. Premise : Eris, the terrifying goddess of Chaos, has stolen the Book of Peace and framed Sinbad for the crime! To prove his innocence, Sinbad journeys to the realm beyond the world to steal back the book. Eris tries to stop him by sending horrific beasts to attack him. (Does she need anymore attention? I mean... really?)

Superhero Hype says - "We broke the news six months before Cartoon Network and Kids' WB! made the official announcement that a Teen Titans animated series was coming, now we have the exclusive first word that a writer is on board a live-action film in development as well. We're hearing that the screenwriter on the feature film, produced by Akiva Goldsman, is Brad Fulmer, who was an assistant to "The X-Files" creator Chris Carter. Fulmer is said to be on his second draft of the script and it is unclear which Teen Titans teammates may be included in the story."

They're going all out on X2. None of this delayed premier stuff over seas. Not at all. In fact in Spain and the Netherlands it is premiering two days ealier. There are trailers being made for other countires that are different than the ones shown here in the US.

Greg Johnson, story editor of X-Men: Evolution, told The Continuum (Comics Continuum) that the fourth season of the show will include new villains in addition to the continuation of the Apocalypse story arc. "Yes, we have some new villains, one of which will take everyone by surprise," Johnson told The Continuum on Tuesday.

UPN has released loglines for the final four episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (Plot synopsis.)

DC Comics has announced a July 2 release for Elfquest: 25th Anniversary Edition, a 40-page one-shot created by Wendy and Richard Pini that reprints the introductory story from Elfquest #1, originally published in 1978.

How sad is it I remember waiting for every issue of the original 20 ElfQuests to come out?

I remember waiting for my brother to buy each issue as it came out... but I could only read them if he was holding the comic. He's got them all somewhere, I think...

I found original black and white 8x10's printed by WARP Graphics in this little obscure shop in Bothell.. they were worth 7 bucks a piece for the earlier issues, I got them all for $2 a pop.. to date, my coolest comic find.

*preens over her beloved Elfquest collection*

May I say Thank Gods for whole no-delay of X2 thing? Probably the only movie I'm going to be willing to pay full price to see and I do not desire to wait, thank you very much. :)
