Bobby is a a feeb. As Iceman he is cool, but that is more of a temperature thing than a descriptor for him in general. So many people cooler than Bobby.
I will come over and karaoke at the party thingy. I like karaoke.
Well, I agree with you about Bobby being a feeb. I've known that ever since "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends".
Although I completely disagree with you about karaoke. I don't think it's possible to get me drunk enough to karaoke, especially if I have to drive home.
You know? To this day I have no idea why the paired Spidey with Iceman and Firestar. Sure, they're both local and then you get that fire and ice thing going. (Except she really manipulates microwaves, but whatever) I don't know. It never made sense to me.
I'm not sure where the idea of spidey with superpowered sidekicks came from, but Firestar was made up just for the cartoon. She was introduced into the comics a few years later, and it was decided that she should really have microwaves so she wasn't just a female human torch clone. In the cartoon she was fire all the way, baby!
uh, ya.
Actually, I think they picked Bobby for the cartoon because he was bland enough that he wouldn't outshine Peter in the personality department.
You know, I'd forgotten that was how that happened. And then she was a New Warrior, right?
He was pretty bland. Every time they try to make Bobby more interesting it just ends up being silly. This attempt (the one going on now) is at least plausible. He's a better character at the moment and it's great that Northstar has a crush on him... or what ever you want to call it.
She had a four-part miniseries wherein both Xavier and The White Queen tried to recruit her. I think she went with the Hellions at first then left, then just sorta faded from memory for awhile.
She resurfaced as a New Warrior and is now a reserve member of The Mighty Avengers, oh and Justice is her squeeze.
While I fully support your desire to be Da Karaoke King, you will never be able to make me sing in public. Just in case you were wondering what to do on those quiet Friday and Saturday nights.

Love,
me.
