An awesome Nightcrawler picture. There is a link to more pictures here, but there are tons that are spoilers. SPOILERS! I like Magneto's black. Very severe and appropriate. And Rogue in green. *grins*

The images coming from Tomb Raider 2 are looking pretty. Of course, the first movie was /pretty/. What does it mean, really? I'll probably still go see it. I can't really resist Angelina.

Joel Silver is begining to hype the Matrix movies. He's saying things like, "after this, movies will never be made the same way again" and The bar has been raised so high that... there is no bar". (Ha ha ha.... Erg.) So, smoking crack or correct? Wait until May.

Tons and tons and tons of rumors about plot for an Elektra movie. Nothing that's possible at the moment since rights for some to the characters they'd want to use are tied up in development hell.

According to Variety, French helmer Jean-Jacques Annaud has come on board to direct Shores of Tripoli for Disney and producer Gale Anne Hurd. The film, being rewritten by John Collee (Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World), is based on a spec script Disney originally bought for Hurd in 1996. "Shores" tells the story of William Eaton, a U.S. Army officer assigned to Tunis in 1797 who argued against the U.S. government paying ransom to any of the Barbary Coast countries for safe passage through international waters. He ultimately was banished from the region, but returned several years after that and managed to persuade the government to back his military plan to restore the ousted rightful ruler of Tripoli.

Seeing things like 'makeup tests' for Ghost Rider, but I'm not posting them. I can't believe that what I saw would be anywhere near a final product and it looks... well.. kind of silly at best.

And... Ummmm... I love Stan Lee, but... - Reality veteran Bruce Nash ("Meet My Folks") has teamed with comic book king Stan Lee to search for the next big superhero, reports Variety. The mild-mannered duo will be pitching a fantasy-meets-reality show to the networks. Project will begin with an open call for contestants who have created their own idea for a superhero. Dressed as their creation, participants will be judged by a panel of celebs who have played heroes in the past (think Lynda Carter). Semifinalists, under the guidance of Lee, will then get to see their creation come to life as their costumed creations are professionally designed via a "superhero makeover." The remaining contestants will then be thrown into classic superhero situations (save the damsel in distress!). "We'll put them in scenarios that will be right out of the pages of comic books," Nash said. "We'll try to put obstacles in their paths and exploit their weaknesses." Nash said he and Lee will scout for both male and female superheroes, and may also put out a call for supervillains.

And having read an interview with Shawn Ashmore (Iceman) I feel a little better about the Rogue and Bobby thing. No. I'm not telling why. If you want the spoilers, go and read for yourself.

I'm thinking I might have to start picking up Exiles. It fascinates me as a concept and I'll have to ask people if it is worth the time. They're changing arists and I'm liking the new art.
