This is the good stress. It helps me let the bad stress slide away much more easily. When I can worry about these thigns I don't worry about people and those situations. I just deal with them.

Thomas Crown or Bank of America was what the lady at WaMu suggested for changing currency.

Hmmmmmm... Okay. When I called Bank of America they seemed uncertain. I'll call them up again. Do you have any contact info for Thomas Crown?

Bank of American can really only deal with pounds at the Main Branch, ie the one in the Bank of America building, which is on 3rd and 4th, south of where I used to work by about 2 or 3 blocks.
Sorry about the crap directions, but I've been gone long enough that my street names are leaving me. :)

Interesting that Hungarian is on the list. I wouldn't have expected that country to generate enough tourism for it to matter. Also interesting that Chinese and Hindi aren't on the list.

I was amused in my own way that Welsh was. It makes sense, of course, but it amuses me.

I will be *so* jealous if you get tickets to Dance of Death. I *hope* you do!

These days, for what it's worth, you're pretty much best off getting cash from a cash machine, if you've got a credit card or debit card you can do that with, while overseas, because you get the best and most up-to-date exchange rate that way. There are terminal fees to pay, but you don't have to worry about losing all that money you got all at once, either.

Well, when I was over there a few years ago, most ATMs had issues with debit cards. They didn't with my credit card, but they didn't seem to like my debit card. *shrugs* I just want to have some cash on me. It it s comforting thing for me.

I so want to go see that. I hope, I hope.
