Oh yeah. And I veto Sean getting to see The Hulk. Maybe ever. I'm going to go with Tim and Kris forever and ever.

The new X-2 trailer is up in palces but the links I currently have don't work. I have such hopes for this film. I'm scared to hope too much for it. I really am, but... I don't know. (Insert my whine about Rogue and Bobby here. I'd be the last person to limit Rogue to being only with Magneto or Gambit or some in canon relationship, but BOBBY? *ahem* Sorry.)

Dude. These images have just sold me on Van Helsing. All Vampire Hunter D and it's Hugh Jackman. How can you go wrong? I don't care if its funny or horror or whatever, but I am there next summer.

The X2 website has an update. I really like what they've done over there. Stryker's database rules. *hoping hoping*

Feb 25th we find out is X-men Evolution comes back for another season or not... Please, please, please...

Megaman is coming to Kids WB... Just when you thought there wasn't an anime/video game they hadn't mined yet...

Anyway, I think that's it.

Yeah, it may be for the best if I don't see "The Hulk". Then again, if they don't throw in a lot of unexplained silly-bad special effects, my aura of mocking may stay between "moderate" and "mild". Still, I probably shouldn't sit next to you for that one.

They've done a megaman cartoon already.

I remember seeing it back in the day.

Well yes, but that just makes it worse, you see.

Now, see, I don't actually object to Rogue and Bobby. I think they'd be kind of a cute couple. I mean, Gambit's preferable, sure, but they haven't brought him in yet (and I'd rather see them not bring him in at all than screw him up!), and Bobby's cute. And the movie Bobby is a sweetheart, too.

But then, I'm so happy they didn't cast Sarah Michelle Gellar as Rogue that I'll forgive them huge trespasses. Plus, well, I really like what they're doing with Rogue in the movies. I am *so* fed up with the eternal inability to gain control in the comics (I have high hopes for Claremont bringing Rogue and Gambit back into X-Treme as their powers slowly return and Rogue getting control. I may quit reading X entirely if she doesn't. It's been twenty years. Some resolution would be OKAY NOW! er, ahem. sorry. better now.) that I'm thrilled with Evolution and Ultimate and now the movies where they're giving her a degree of control. O.O

I'll give you that they're cute and it works in the movie-verse well enough. I don't know. I'm just used to Bobby being the almost younger brother for her. He followed her around often enough, almost puppy dog-like.

I really like what they're doing with her in Evolution and Ultimate and in the movies. The woman deserves some ability to control her powers. I'm entirely there with you on that one. It has been far, far too long, especially for someone who joined the X-men for help with the control in the first place. I really, really like Evolution, though. She has control to an extent but it does get really noisy in her head after awhile.

Iii've only seen a little of Evolution (they don't play it up here), so I donno much of what they're doing with her, but that sounds like they're playing the character right. Go them!

Huh. I never saw Bobby playing puppy-dog or younger brother to Rogue. They just seem like good friends to me. I wouldn't mind seeing a 'real-world' romance with them, actually, except I prefer Gambit. :)

Bobby following Rogue around is really odd, and smells of bad writing. Why? 'Cuz Bobby feels older than her. He's been an X-man since he was approximately 17, around the same age that Rogue joined the X-men. He should be well in his mid-twenties by now, whereas Rogue should be about 20.

The following-around-like-a-puppydog thing usually happens with younger characters.

...

Then again Franklin Richards is perpetually 9 or something, so whatever.

When I take over the Marvel Universe people are going to age, dammit!

Well, Bobby was the youngest of the first X-men. I've always had them at about the same age, because of that.

Well, when she was running away from herself and went cross country, he was there with her. He was all potential suitor/over protective brother. He offered to beat up Gambit and all of that.

It always had the feel of someone who wanted to have a chance but knew that he didn't.
