Wow. I really hurt. I think I'm going to be in an interesting place this evening. You'll have to excuse me if I'm a bit snappish. It's only 10... *sigh* Today is going to be far too long.

On a seperate note entirely, listening to music from Lilo and Stitch makes me kind of sad. I hadn't realized how much I missed the culture of Hawaii until I started listening to the music again.

I think I want to go back. Just for a visit sometime. Preferably in the winter.

I hope you feel better, soon! Achy backs suck!

And I also hope you get to go to Hawaii soon! My brother went a few years ago, and fell in love with it. So have most of the other people I know that have been. I want to go someday. If its even half as wonderful as I hear, I'll still love it. Vacations are good. Especially when its to a place you love.

I think if it were just an ache in my back, I'd be much better off. I've taken two Aleve for this and it has med enough of a dent that I can force myself to relax when I remember.

It's a great, great place. The culture is unique and very relaxed. There are so many place I want to go and almost as many that I want to go to *again*. New Orleans and Hawaii and Japan and Italy and... Just so many...

I'm with ya on the pain thing. Do you see a chiropractor? If you've read my journal, you've likely seen a lot of the whining I do about my back-leg-neck-head pain. When I see Dr Hanson regularly, and keep up on the excersizes he has advised me, I do really well. He's up here in Lake City, his fees are reasonable, and he does great work. He's really affordable, too. If you are interested, I can get you his number and address. If not, forgive my rambling about him. ;-)

There are tons of places I want to go that I haven't yet, and a bunch of places I'd love to see again. Vacation is so much fun. I always feel so refreshed afterwards. I want to go to Hawaii, New Orleans, the East Coast, Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Germany, France... Turkey. God, so many places I've never seen that I want to. Plus I want to go back to Whistler, to Texas, to Florida... even little vacations here in Washington and some in Oregon. What is it about getting away? :-)

Here's hoping we both get to go to all the places we long to!

I am interested, but at the moment, we're in the middle of changing insurance companies. Once we're done switching, my insurance will cover all sorts of things: like 20 chiropratcic visits a year and a certain dollar value worth of massage therapist visits. I cannot wait for that to go through. It will be very, very nice.

No kidding. I love travelling. It really is something that I can't get away from at all, since I did it so much when I was younger. I want to go back to so many places I've been and find new places. Especially in the case of Hawaii, I want to go pay my respects to Pele again.

Well, after you get all settled with your insurance, if you still want it, I'll give you his info. He's really cool and does a great job. :-) I said that already, though.

The way you feel about travelling reminds me a lot of the way my Mom feels about it. I've said before that I bet the two of you would get along so well. Heh. She'd totally love you. And would be fascinated for hours about your trips. :-) To me, vacations are very cleansing. The last two really major ones I've taken have come at the same time as major turning points in my life, and I associate them with rejuvenation, healing and revitalizing. Something about being in a new place, where no one knows what you are going through makes it easier to heal and recover. And trips when things are fantastic and great are also wonderful! I love the road trips I've taken with family, friends, companions. It can be a bonding, a healing, an amusement... so many things.

:-D You make me want to go on a trip!
