Anyone interested in putting up a little cash for a bid on an NHL team? The Senators are a good team, but they're broke. http://buythesens.fourthperiod.com/ If I had $65 sitting around I'd buy a share in the hopes that they could buy it.

Last night moved stuff over to the new place. My room seems strangely empty now. It wasn't that much stuff, but it was enough to make my room seem pretty barren. More packing to do tonight.

Went to the Ram last night. Thay have beer I can drink there. Not just make my way through a glass, but beer I can drink and just keep drinking and not have to worry about the after taste. This stuff rules. I forsee myself going down there for drinks. Good food, great desserts and good beer. This rules.

The Ram in Puyallup is better.

I used to go there after work every single night and play NTN and eat an Ice Cream Potato.

The fundamental rule of eating an Ice Cream Potato is this:
Don't Inhale

We lost a guy, once.

But they don't have those anymore.

Especially compared to that poor excuse of a Ram in Lakewood and the one you can't ever find a seat in (commonly called the Ram on the waterfront.)

I just wish they would stop raising the prices every time we venture there. That's probably why we have pretty much stopped going there - prefer the Harmon in downtown.

I just miss the Ice Cream Potato.

If they'd bring that back, it'd be worth the drive to Puyallup for.

Cookies & Cream Ice Cream, poured into a potato mold and rolled in cocoa powder, the sliced in half and served on a bed of warm fudge with whipped cream and slivered almonds.

If you were to inhale while eating it, you'd get Cocoa Lung.

We lost a guy, once.

Wow - that sounds awesome!

I've never had it, but now I want them to bring it back too!

They were amazing. But everytime you mention them, it's traditional to say, "Just don't inhale."

And then you shake your head sadly, and say, "We lost a guy, once."

I haven't lost anyone to food stuff yet. But I do know some people who need to be lost . . .

I don't think we ever actually lost someone to Cocoa Lung.

But we always told the newbies that we had. A solemn expression is necessary, too.

As to the needing to lose people ... I can't think of anyone I want dead.

Suffering, yes. Dead, no. It's just so much more fun that way.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I just see myself going there.

The Disorder Porter. It was really, really good. I will have to try more beers there.

Have to agree - that's a good beer.

In the spring they had some sort of fruity beer that was surprisingly good.

I think the best part about the Ram's beer is their little sampler thing they have - four beers, for like $5 or something (or maybe it was $4?) And it's an actual decent enough portion to taste the beer and form an opinion. Yum yum!

Too bad it's lunch time . . . I'm starting to crave beer now . . .

I wonder if I could get a way with having a beer sampler for lunch?

The Ram is right down the road from work and I still haven't taken my hour yet . . . tempting . . .

something with chocolate. some sort of porter, maybe? but it was WONDERFUL. I generally dislike beer, and this one had NO aftertaste to speak of. I could drink it no problem.

Could drink a lot of it, actually. Which could be a problem ;)

As someone who lives in a neighboring area, let me be the first to ask you kids to keep the noise down. Some of us are trying to sleep!
