Was watching hockey the other day, Chicago and Phoenix, and they both had rookie goalies in. I was expecting it to be a slaughter, but it ended up being a 0-0 tie. It was a good game and both of the goalies made some excellent plays. Anyway, the goalie for Phoenix was Zac Bierk. His brother is none other than Sebastian Bach, the singer for Skid Row. The commentators mentioned how Sebastian was trying for the Guns and Roses gig now that Axl has apparently just given up. The odd things you learn from odd places.

On a vaguely related topic, I was doing some thinking last night and I decided to do some polling. Does anyone here know what my favorite band was before it was Nine Inch Nails?

I was just wondering if anyone knew that at all.

Please don't say Skid Row.

*laughs* No. Nirvana was a little after for me, if anything. And they were never my favorite band.

Paul Simon is also wrong, though ... a little closer? Maybe? I don't know.

Nope. Heading too far into that category, I think.

Though the band before this one was likely the Beatles.

Man.
I have a bone to pick with L&R.
The comic was 4325325 times better than the band.
Stupid name-ripper-offers.

Paul Simon was closer time wise than Nirvana. That's about it, really.

*stares at you* No. Though I will admit to that being the first concert I ever went to. It was at the Tokyo Dome. My parents bought me a ticket for Christmas since everyone else was into them at that point. I kind of had to follow the trend to fit in at all, being the new girl. Never too big on the music, though.

Though some of them were cute.

Hrmmmmmmmmm.

What's her name...uh, Janis Joplin?

Well I was going to guess U2, R.E.M., Pearl Jam, Matalica, and Aerosmith for pre G N' R... After all I should know the answer since I am your sister lol.

Rock On!

Concidering Sebastian Bach's stage presence, sense of humor, sense of a good metal song, eye-candy value, willingness to work with others, writing ability, and general talent, the remaining original members of GnR would be nuts not to take him on. Axl has been as a** for years regarding the other band mamber's side projects and other commitments, if rumors are to be believed. Also, he's not as much fun to watch as Sebastian is.

That, and the whole beating up his girlfriends thing turned me off to Axl's music asperations a great deal. I can't buy a love song from I guy like that. Sorry.

If they do hire on Sebastian, expect me there with tickets in hand.
