Much planning and plotting and evilness. Yeesssss. I've had a pretty good few days, really. Getting the key to the new place. Signing paperwork. I've actually packed five boxes. My CDs and VHS tapes are all packed. I got another chunk of my books put away into boxes.

How strange. I might actually be packed before it becomes crunch time.

I have things to plan and thigns to do and just stuff. I'm glad I'll have most of the weekend. Sad I'm not going to RustyCon, but I can't afford it and I should spend the weekend doing other things.

Oh, so you all know, Crossroads of Twilight has the longest intro section ever. It's like 100 pages. So far - Seanchan = Bad, Children of Light = bad, Something going on in Arad Doman that I don't know whether it is good or bad. Yeah.

I remembered what bothered me most about these books. I always feel as though I need a map when reading any battles. I want to be able to see some interactive screen or something with the troop movements on it, otherwise I have no idea what is happening.

I imagine that someone, somewhere, will make little flash animated scenes to help epople understand some of the battles.

Or at least they should.

damnit.

I just caught a sneezing fit.

I blame you.

The US cover art for the book may be ass (per [livejournal.com profile] fireballof3), but the Brit version is much more subdued. Just FYI

I've not seen it yet; trying to avoid spoilers, but the one thing I do want to know ahead of time is, is it the end of the series or not ?

Ha ha ha ha ha... You think this series will end?

Seriously, though, not a chance. Currently he's saying 13 books. We'll see.

I know that, it was just that Locus' note about the delivery of the manuscript referred to it as the last, as did a note one of the UK-based online bookstores had. *sigh* when I met Jordan, he was saying seven books, and I still have an interview from when the first one came out, claiming it would be four. At this rate even the Dark Tower series will be finished first.

I really don't think this is the last one. Unless they mean last as in latest.

And you're probably right about the Dark Tower thing.
