Kris and I found a house last night on the way back to my place after seeing a house. (Liked the house. Liked it a lot. Rooms were a bit small, though.) We were talking abut having this image in our heads of the perfect place and we were never going to find it. We passed on place that had a for rent thing out front and then we discovered that while it should have been a house, it was really apartments. So, we kept going and found another one. We went around and looked at it and if luck holds true there will be something about it that doesn't work for some reason....

But... there was just the right setup (the talking about what we wanted, the problems with the other houses, the finding one before that wasn't actually a house) that it almost feels like this should be the house. Should be the one. We'll see how things turn out, though.

I would be a very happy me if it did work, though.

Sounds interesting. And it does have that storyline feel; the one you just found SHOULD be the "right" house.
