I hear that Ian McKellan will be Dumbledore, but then his web site says that he won't be, so I'm going to go with that source.

From Peter Jackson on Return of the King: "It will be as long as it needs to be," says director Peter Jackson, who is busy editing the film right now. "The third is my favorite one in the trilogy. It's almost biblical and makes me cry. It's about incredible courage and the last part of it is just mind-boggling."

New stuff at the Daredevil and X-men sites... Mmmmm. I'm going to have to stop looking at these soon, I think. I'll drive myself crazy.

There will be an ad for The Hulk during the Superbowl.

Harley and Ivy will be the villains in the Static Shock episode that brings in Batman.

Marvel Comics on Friday announced that Doctor Doom and Captain America will be appearing in February's Amazing Spider-Man #50, which is being promoted as a "turning point" in the relationship between Peter and Mary Jane.

And I think that's it for the moment. I'll continue looking through things.

Mary Jane just doesn't understand she has an easier life than most other women who are married to super hero's. She also needs to have a talk with other women who aren't super hero's themselves but are married to one. Like Besty Banner, I'm sure she's had to deal with the whole my husband spends more time saving the city we live in than with me thing. I mean MJ married him knowing Peter had the I have to save the city cause no one else will kind of thing happenin. She should really think about what would happen if he did stop fighting.

Unfortunately MJ can't consult with Mrs. Banner...or should I say the late Mrs. Banner. She died in issue #467 due to radiation poisoning. (due to a devious plot hatched by the nefarious Dr. Emil Blonsky aka The Abomination)

So is it easier to be the wife of a superhero? Well, if yer into latex & spandex costumes, I'd say yes, but there are pitfalls as well.

You know, I'm trying to think of anyone but MJ who has to deal with the 'my SO is a superhero syndrome'. Everyone else I can think of is dead or the SO is a hero too. There used to be The Beast and Trish Trilby, but... Ummmmm..

All I know is that it would frustrate the hell out of me.

The Beast is now TEH GAY. So, no Trish for him unless she wants to hang on as a fag hag. Now, this may be the Ultimate Beast I'm talkin' about over heah.

Well there is Superman and Lois Lane, but MJ would hafta borrow some dimensional hopper dohickey from Reed Richards.

Let's see who else? MMmmmmm. Ben Grimm and Alicia Masters, but I think they broke up and were never married.

There was Rick Jones and Marlo but they are seperated. (Yes, he is 1/2 a superhero, bonded with Cap'n Marvel)

Actually, I don't think Beast is actually gay at all anywhere. It seems like he just said that he was as some sort of odd moment where he tried to make himself in every single ostracized group possible. Next he'll convert to Juadism or something. Maybe Islam.

Oh, and if you were wondering whether its easier to be a girlfriend of a superhero, then that's tough too.

Karen Page, Daredevil's girlfriend disappeared from the pages but was then returned as a drug addict, prostitute and told his secret identity in the end reaching the Kingpin. She and Matt made amends, she came clean and they got back together again on a on-and-off basis until she was killed by Bullseye in Volume Two #7.

Elektra was killed too, only to be resurrected into a shadow of herself. But that's just bad writing.

I don't think it would need to be longer than three and a half hours, especially if they're ignoring the Scouring of the Shire. (Should they? I don't know. It's anticlimactic, but it does wrap up Saruman.) The Frodo/Sam plotline can be done in two hours, I'd guess, and the rest of it... oh, wait, the madness of the king and the legions of the dead... never mind. Four hours it is!

All that I was trying to say is MJ's got it easy compaired to like anyone in the X-Men. Her SO is just defending a city and we all know everyone else in the marvel universe has their hands full as it is with everything else that's going on. Though I'm sure S.H.E.I.L.D could spare some one if Spidy stoped fighting people. Also to me she wouldn't have to worry about where in the world Peter is unlike poor Louis who wouldn't have a clue as to where Super Man was since he not only takes care of Matropolis but the world.. She also doesn't have to deal with a insane little man from the fith dimention either.

Marvel's own imp
