I actually slept through my alarm this morning. I didn't think that was humanly possible. I feel like hell, though. I wish my body would decide whether or not I'm actually going to be sick. This lingering crud is really, really starting to bother me.

I came up with a good plot idea. That makes me quite pleased. Now, I just need to come up with some more of them. Hmmmm.

I need a new jacket for my pins. The trenchcoat they're all on it literatlly falling apart. I want a new jacket for them, but it can't be a new jacket that looks new. If anyone has an ideas, let me know.

Coffee with another person named Kat this evening. That should be interesting.

I want hot cocoa.

There's someone who sits near me at work named Kat, too.

And she's not you (in case you didn't know).

I think we are also a collective. Just not as obvious as the Jen collective.

We're sneaky.

OOoooooooOOOOOOOOOoooooo.... sooooo sneaky.

Like a ninja!

Except ninja collectives aren't scary. Only single ninjas.

Yeah. Any time you see ninja working together in movies they get their collective ass handed to them.

*nods* So, imagine, if you will, a collective of people who could be a sneaky as a sinlge ninja.....

I think that was Voltron, if you give them giant robots.

Yeah, but gient robots aren't snkeay. Unless you count the Sentinels who no one ever seemed to notice until they stood up from behind the house.

Apparently the lesson there is, that 80 foot tall purple robots of mass destruction are common in suburbia.

I must have been living in the wrong neighborhoods.

Well, when your animators randomly pick a height between eight feet and eighty, how can you win?

But maybe that was just the X-Men cartoon.

That was just the cartoon. In the comic books they were about at tall as the houses they were hiding behind, when laying down. When they stood up everyone pointed and screamed and they were much taller than the houses.

I just always wonder how people missed them. Maybe it was some sort of pact with the locals. "Hey, I know they aren't sneaky at all, what being a few tons, 80 feet tall and a startling shade of purple, but could you guys looks frightened or shocked? It makes them work more efficiently if they think people are frightened of them."

Hm. And they had rockets in their feet, if I remember correctly. Which makes me wonder how no one noticed them showing up. Or maybe a bunch of Sentinels went around buying up houses everywhere to allay suspicions.

Guy: So, you're the new couple who moved in, huh?
Sentinel 1: AFFIRMATIVE. I AM... BOB SMITH. AND THIS IS MY WIFE LINDA.
Sentinel 2: HELLO.
Guy: I'm Steve Sutherlin, nice to meet ya. I'd shake your hand, but... you're really, really tall.
Sentinel 1: I PLAYED BASKETBALL IN COLLEGE, HA HA HA.
Sentinel 2: HA HA HA.
Sentinel 1: ARE YOU A MUTANT?

*laughs*

Yeah. They had rockets in their feet.

I can just imagine. That would be hilarious.

Of course, later prototypes of Sentinels were much cooler. I really did like the ones that were people until they rant into a mutant. Then they programming took over and they turned into these android sorts of things to capture or kill the mutants. That was great.

It was much cooler than the giant freakish amalgamation Sentinel that destroyed all of Genosha and killed Magneto.

Hrm. I shall have to go look for one. Maybe I can find something. If not I can go look at the Army Navy surplus store and see if there is anything there.

Hey... I completely forgot about my beloved jean jacket in early highschool.. I bet it's still at my parents' house somewhere..

I was ahead of my time. I was 80's in the early 90's. ;)

Too bad mixing Cocoa and Java is such an inelegant hack.
