2) Did the movie eventually become a "cult hit" or "underground classic?"

If yes, Begin Work
If no, go to 3.

3) Can you con Producers into throwing money at the project?

If yes, Begin Work.
If no, go to 4.

4) Can YOU afford to Produce this film alone?

If yes, Begin Work
If no, Give Up.

Not that anyone ever gives up upon answering "no" to question 4, anyhow.

Highlander stopped at one movie and a really good TV series.

And the X-Files has been off the air for a couple years. The movie was a nice way to wrap things up and bring it to an end, though.
