I'm writing an e-mail to Senator Byrd.

I am impressed with him. He's making all of the points I would want to make and making them in ways I don't think I ever could have. I can't recall ever hearing a politician speak like he is right now.

Some of the faith I lost earlier today has been regained from listening to him speak.

So, I am writing him and e-mail to be counted in that number of people who has told him to "keep up the fight", even though there is nothing to do, since, he is correct, in that there is nothing to fight. The decision is already made.

I wish I'd heard his speech. It seems to have been really good. Senator Murray's speech wasn't too bad either, though not as cool.
