Gaiman knows that the fans are his bread and butter. And he's good to them and treats them with respect. And he's humble. And makes sure that everything he does is top-notch.
McFarlane doesn't care about the fans. He treats them like shit. He's arrogant. And (frankly) he publishes complete crap most of the time.
Does he smell like a punk? Because that's really what I don't like about punks. That and the music. But most of the time, punks don't force me to listen to their music, they just talk to me about philosophy and politics, and it would be really cool, except a lot of the time they smell. And I don't like the way punks smell. Sorta a cross between "I accidentally slept in some dog piss" and "oops, I forgot to shower this year."
But hey, you know.. wash them up a bit and punks is good people.
