Go read this. I'm not sure I agree with all of it, but there are some very interesting points made. Mmmmm. Need to think.

Buffy tonight at Sean's. Whoooo. I have very little money, so I hope they'll be okay with me doing the cooking for dinner.... if we go that way.

Blah blah blah. Why are the anti-war people afraid to speak the truth? If Iraq was such a threat, we'd have gone after them sometime early in 2001. Instead, we're waiting until we're a month or so away from the midterm Congressional elections, and Bush knows his party is smarting from the corporate scandals, but will benefit from war.
This war is entirely about control of Congress. Duh.

Because (as Ozy and Millie illustrated), war distracts people from economic troubles. And, if it drags on, can actually be good for the economy.

And there is evidence that Saddam Hussein may have enough components to build at least one nuclear weapon. And I don't think he has the restraint not to use it.

I don't support a new war -- but I do wish we'd finished the LAST one off properly (The last Gulf War, not Afghanistan).

But that's another can of worms for another day.
