Getting out of bed this morning was a pain in the ass. The 33 minutes I did on the eliptical machine were /hard/. It started out hard and just didn't get better. I am so craving a mocha, but it is not to be for me. Maybe some cofee later, but no mocha. I'm sticking to my diet really well and I don't want to ruin it now.

Stupid caffine.

Tired. Kind of grumpy. Looking forward to the end of today since my weekend looks like it should be fun.

Anyone who wants an invitation to my Halloween party mailed to them, give me an address. Otherwise, you'll have to deal with them getting to you by hand, which may or may not work.

I could not live like that.

I can drink Diet Coke, but there is too much sugar in normal Coke, or any soda for that matter.

*blink*

I could find that. And not get lost.

Isn't that one of the signs of the End Times?

Nope. It's just all about the fact that Tacoma is a railroad town, and the streets are easy to navigate.

Could be.

I really need to get down and see some of my friends, sometime.

Hey -- d'you know Zach Miller, Craig Egan, Aaron Stultz, Rodger Yarborough, Dave Daschofsky, Gavin Ramstead, Carla Broggi or Kriss-Anne Porter?

I'm just trying to figure out where I remembered you from when we ran into one another at the Jeopardy! Tryouts.

So I had this whole "Mr. Green in the movie Clue" kinda moment today. I said the entire link out loud and felt like I had solved some great mystery.

Here we go:

I was relatively close friends with Amy Reiderich during my carrer there @ Western. She introduced us on more than one ocassion. That, and I do believe that you attended Jeff's birthday party one year, although I cannot be sure on that point.

The "Amy Connection" however, is there without a doubt.

BTW, in case you care, she is married and living in Minnesotta (at least I THINK it's Minnesotta) attending the UofM. Her husband, also a guy by the name of Mike (although their last name eludes me at this time), is one of the most unlikely of guys to have gotten her attentions. But life is pretty unpredictable at times, and you never can tell what's going to happen.

Wow. Mystery solved.

Short, straight brown hair, you knew her in at least an aquaintence manner up @ Western.

I think you two had a class together, but I could be wrong.

Maybe. It almost felt like I knew her from high school.... Do you know if she was a Navy brat?

I *think* her dad was in the military, but not the navy.

Huh. The name is amazingly familar and I want to ay that I knew her somewhere other than here, which is the odd thing. It'll bother me, but I'll get over it.

I didn't attend Jeff's birthday party -- I did attend a Superbowl party, however.

Last I heard, she was living in Bellingham (And this is as of a few months ago). And I knew she was married.

Glad we got that mystery solved. :)

I feel ya sister. But one thing I'd like to say on the mocha issue: I find that really seriously denying myself the things that I want makes me want them more. For example, I have a gigantic chocolate addiction, and was having a really hard time avoiding it while sticking to my diet plan. (Especially since there is a giant bag of m&m's on my coworker's desk!) Then I was told that it's ok to indulge, even if your on a diet. Instead of getting a handful of m&m's, when I want some I go and get 1 m&m...and surprisingly I find I don't want anymore. Just the sensation of the chocolate is enough to sooth the beast. So instead of going and getting a Grande Mocha, maybe just the smallest one they have to offer made with skim milk and a big bottle of water will be just right. It's just a thought..

Hmmmm.. Maybe. I think I'll wait until I am a litter further into it to do such things, but that is a good idea. Slowly wean myself off of such cravings. Mmmm.
