No, no... is too much. Lemme sum up.
Sep. 6th, 2002 08:31 am1) Everyone should read To Reign In Hell by Stever Brust. There is a very important lesson here. If there is a problem, GO AND TALK TO THE PERSON YOU HAVE THE ISSUE WITH AND WORK IT OUT! *takes a breath* Otherwise, everyone goes on rumor and word of mouth and everything ends up going to Hell. Literally in the case of the book. It was lovely and it made me sad to watch it all go wrong.
2) Alan Cumming is a fricking genius. All of you, go get his book. NOW! I am keeping my copy for him to sign, no you can't have it. It's smarmy, funny, witty and sexy. I'm 30 pages in or so and it's great. Is there anything this man cannot do? He sings, he acts, he dances, he writes, he directs, he produces, he's attractive, his website is awesome and he's going to be Nightcrawler. Mmmmm. Time to make space in my pantheon for someone new.
3) I so far have Sean, Matt and Rachel (and maybe Ben) coming with me to the movie tonight at 7:00. It's at Pacific Place. Show up, punks! I'll be there around 6:30, though honestly, I'll probably be downstairs in the Barned and Noble reading before that.
4) Donating blood - tomorrow. It's on Terry and Madison (I think...) downtown. Terry is the street after 9th if you're heading up towards Broadway from downtown. They have parking there. The will validate it if you give blood. I'm thinking around 1 or so. Let me know what you think, people.
