The Sci-fi fantasy, mystery editor just opened up his shelves for poaching. Anyone want me to look for something for them?

Kris, I have something for you.

I like Heiline, McCaffrey, Lackey, that sort of thing...I don't know who wrote it but I loved Ender's Game, too. I'll try almost anything at least once.

does he happen to have any (recentish?) connie willis or melissa scott? I only like the weirdo girl writers I think. I think I already have every shred of octavia butler's stuff :)

Anything by Sean Russell or Mike Moscoe or Terry Pratchett.

Or any Game Books. But that much goes without saying.

Does he get things before they come out normally? I've mostly got what I want, but having to wait until the end of the month for Lady Knight and Blood and Ivory is making me nuts. If books are coming out August 27th, they should just say September, dammit.

Yes, he does. I know he doesn't have Lady Knight because I would ahve picked it up. I'll look for the other one, but I don't think I saw it.

Would it all be recent stuff? Cuz I need a copy of "The Martians" by Kim Stanley Robinson, but that's a few years old.

Anything you think might catch my eye. Historical mysteries, SF mysteries, epic fantasy, elves (mystery with elves? That would be nifty.)

Yeah. Anything that looks nifty. Especially cross-genre stuff.

really, I'm happy with books. It's kind of scary. You could get me a "yard of books," and I'd still probably like it.

I am so addicted.

If you can find anything by Karl Edward Wagner or Fritz Leiber, that would be great.

Most of their stuff is out of print.

Thanks in advance!

I would appreciate anything you think looks good at this point.

I'm so out of books and out of money, it's tragic.
