So... The odds for the 2003 Stanley Cup are out in Vegas.

The Wings are 7-2 and then Avs are 9-2 and the Sharks are 8-1. I'd take those odds. Maybe I'll have a family member place a bet for me down there.

Actually, oddly enough, I probably wouldn't place money on the Wings at the moment. I will have to see how well Cujo plays with them before I start thinking about the playoffs.

Yeah Wings are going to definitely be an interesting story. Without Hasek and with Yzerman missing until January, it's entirely possible the Avs could build up enough of a lead to get home ice advantage in the West. Avs remained largely the same during the offseason, and with a healthy Forsberg... well, the season is going to be very interesting.
