Note to all of you out there....

I am looking for a decent sized hard drive for inexpensive. So, if you have a bargain or you happen to have one you're not using or... whatever, I found bad sectors on mine this weekend and have the feeling I might need to get a new one soon.

I hate that bad sector noise. It makes me panic.

I have no spares... I actually lost my last one that was sort of a spare recently... and need to replace it as almost all of my hard drives are full of data.

Just to give you an idea of costs of new hard drives:

30GB (5400rpm) ~$60
30GB (7200rpm) ~$75
40GB (5400rpm) ~$60
40GB (7200rpm) ~$65
60GB (5400rpm) ~$70
60GB (7200rpm) ~$75
80GB (5400rpm) ~$80
80GB (7200rpm) ~$90

I think currently you have a 30 or 40GB 7200rpm drive in there... but I don't recall offhand.

these prices are including shipping... you might be able to find these prices in town.. but these are from online purchasing...so.... i doubt it.
